About GMGN & How to Use These Guides

GMGN is a multichain memecoin trading terminal built for speed: it surfaces brand-new pools within a minute of creation, runs automated contract checks on them, and puts a one-click trade window on the same screen. The product spans a web app at gmgn.ai, a family of per-chain Telegram bots, and iOS and Android apps, covering Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Tron and Blast. There is no KYC and no email signup: you authenticate with Telegram and GMGN generates a wallet for you on each chain, which is why connecting Telegram and funding the wallet is the first thing to get right. GMGN launched in June 2023 as an Ethereum smart-money tracker, the name stands for "Good Morning, Good Night," and the team is bootstrapped at roughly 30 staff with about $240 million in lifetime fees collected per DefiLlama.

What sets GMGN apart from the rest of the terminal cohort is breadth. Six chains run from one account, and the feature set reaches well past order entry: copy trading with market-cap, liquidity and token-age filters, smart money and insider wallet tracking, a wallet radar that scans up to 10 tokens at once for shared holders, an X tracker watching more than 2,000 curated accounts, contract security checks with honeypot and rug-history detection, cross-chain multicharts, limit orders, auto buy and sell, and trailing take-profit and stop-loss. Almost all of it is reachable from Telegram as well as the browser. The one thing GMGN does not have is a token: read the GMGN token and airdrop question before you trust any $GMGN claim you see online.

This hub organizes every GMGN tutorial into seven categories. New users should start with Getting Started, which walks through Telegram login, wallet funding, chain selection and a first trade. Trading Features covers the trenches, sniping, copy trading and the automation suite. Fees & Settings explains the flat 1% and the settings that cost far more than it does. Terminal Comparisons ranks GMGN against Photon, Axiom, Trojan and the rest using DefiLlama fee data instead of vibes. Ecosystem & Token covers the analytics tooling, the referral program and the token question. Security & Custody covers who holds your keys, and Troubleshooting handles failed transactions and stuck orders.

Each guide is written for a specific task and skill level. Browse the category cards below to jump straight to a topic, or scroll the full article listing. Every figure we publish carries a source, either GMGN's own documentation or the DefiLlama API, with the date it was read. Why Use GMGN?

Chain coverage is the honest answer. Nearly every terminal in this category charges exactly 1%, so the headline rate decides very little, and GMGN is the one that runs Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Tron and Blast from a single Telegram account. Its BSC business is now the larger half: over the 30 days to 2026-08-06, BSC produced 58.9% of GMGN's fees against Solana's 31.5%, a reversal from 99.5% Solana in January 2025 (DefiLlama). On a Solana-only basis it ranks fourth in the cohort, not second, which is worth knowing if Solana is all you trade. Verify current fees and settings in GMGN's official documentation before you size a position, and read the custody guide before you deposit, because private key export is prohibited on every chain.

Who These Guides Are For

These guides serve three audiences. First-time memecoin traders who have only used a centralized exchange will find the Getting Started walkthroughs cover every step from Telegram login to a first buy, with no prior DeFi experience assumed. Traders migrating from Photon, Axiom, Trojan or BONKbot should go to Trading Features and the comparison guides, which assume you already know what a sniper and a copy task are and focus on where GMGN differs: six chains, no user-side fee discount, and a custody model that does not let you export a key. Anyone chasing a GMGN airdrop should read the token question first and save the time. GMGN ships fast, so verify fee settings, chain support and feature limits against the official docs before acting.
